TauRx contributes to first Life Sciences event held at Aberdeen’s new ONE BioHub

Last week, Head of Commercial and Communications, Rebecca Andersen, took part in a panel session at BioIndustry Association’s (BIA) latest regional showcase event, hosted by Opportunity North East (ONE) Life Sciences.

The event saw attendees experience the new ONE BioHub facility ahead of its formal launch at the end of May.

As a key member of Aberdeen’s life sciences sector, TauRx discussed its route to commercialising research alongside Deborah O'Neil, NovaBiotics Ltd, Obinna C Ubah PhD., FHEA., MRSB Elasmogen Ltd and Ayham Alnabulsi, EpitogenX, and participated in a lively Q&A and networking session following the event.

Rebecca commented: “With all of our companies looking to address major public health issues, this discussion was an opportunity to explore the routes to commercial success whilst highlighting the importance of continued investment to ensure growth and longevity in the sector for northeast Scotland and the UK overall. It was a pleasure to be involved.”
