Environment
The manufacture of our product, Hydromethylthionine mesylate (HMTM), uses facilities that are committed to minimising impact on the planet, aspiring to net zero by 2045. This is being achieved by zero waste to landfill and waste process water being treated on-site through anaerobic and aerobic treatment facilities, with waste solvents being used as feedstock for biomethane production.
Social
Dementia is recognised as one of the world’s greatest unmet medical needs. There is an exponential increase in diagnosed cases predicted with enormous associated economic and social costs. As well as the personal impact of loss of self and progressive loss of independence, dementia has a huge detrimental effect on families as carers and a consequent financial burden on individuals and communities.
We are committed to helping ease that burden by working to discover, develop and commercialise innovative products for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of neurodegenerative diseases caused through protein aggregation.
Governance
As a business with roots in both Singapore and the United Kingdom, we are committed to ensuring good governance within and across both jurisdictions, as well as compliance with international, national and local regulations, standards and pharmaceutical industry codes of practice in all the territories in which we operate.
