Patients and carers

Our mission is to make a positive difference to the lives of the individuals, carers and families who are affected by neurodegenerative diseases

We are drawing on decades of scientific, clinical and healthcare experience to understand the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases to develop an effective treatment.

Alzheimer’s today

As the world’s population ages, the prevalence of the disease is predicted to reach epidemic proportions.

Mild cognitive impairment

MCI is not a normal part of ageing, and understanding the difference is critical to getting an early diagnosis, and the right kind of support.

Alzheimer’s disease

There is currently no treatment to prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer’s, nor to slow down or stop its progression. Our new drug could change this prognosis, potentially improving the lives of millions.

Frontotemporal dementia

This less common type of dementia can lead to personality changes and difficulties with speech and movement, often developing at a younger age than other types.
