Professor Schelter is the Chair Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Aberdeen, where he spearheads research in data science, predictive analytics and statistics.
With more than 20 years' experience, he has developed several statistical techniques. His academic contributions include (co-)authoring more than 100 publications, which have collectively received more than 6,500 citations. In 2020, Prof Schelter also assumed the role of CEO at GT Diagnostics (UK). In his role as Chief Analytics Officer at TauRx and CEO of GT Diagnostics, he continues to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical applications. His dual commitment to academia and industry underscores his dedication to advancing applied mathematics and its real-world implementations.
