Prof John Storey
Chief Technical Officer
Professor Storey received his degree and Ph.D. from Kings College London before spending a four-year period overseas undertaking postdoctoral research studies at the Australian National University.
Following a return to the UK and several academic appointments, he joined TauRx in 2002 as the Head of Technical and Chief Chemist primarily overseeing all chemistry discovery, scale up and industrialisation operations for both Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and drug product.
In 2023 he was appointed as TauRx’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO). He is also Test Facility Manager for the University of Aberdeen GLP Test Facility and a member of the TauRx DMC, as well as a Director of TauRx Therapeutics Management Ltd.
