The recently published government review of university spin-outs supports practical improvements from recent learnings to result in greater success of new companies, allowing for high quality tech transfers and economic growth opportunities.
Prof. Wischik highlighted the opportunity created by TauRx as a spin-out of University of Aberdeen, with emphasis on continuing collaboration between the company and university to both promote longevity of mutual benefits and to maximise future value and investment, saying, “The nexus between TauRx and the university infrastructure is part of the value we bring to the economy as a whole.”
